Power Outage Protection: The controller has a non-volatile memory to retain program information for up to 30 years without power and uses a 9-volt alkaline battery for backup to maintain the time and date during a power failure for over 2,000 continuous hours. Other Features: It includes a rain sensor connection with a bypass switch, a self-diagnostic circuit breaker, and a programmable rain delay for up to seven days. Newer "R" models are also remote-ready and compatible with Irritrol's Climate Logic and SMRT Logic systems for weather-based and remote control.
