You're looking at my 1997 Moomba Boomerang. This boat is a rocket on the water and great for skiing, tubing, wakeboarding and barefoot. I'm a gearhead, and have put countless labor hours and thousands of dollars into the engine over the years - she's strong, sounds great and will pull a house... I get comments on the boat / engine every time we park it at the sandbar and open the lid to let it cool down. The good: See all of the above. The not so good: Keep in mind this is a 1997, meaning there is going to have 24yr old wear and tear. The upholstery is a weak point, as most everything became sun faded, cracked and seams popped over the years. The driver seat is original (good condition, no tears) but I re-wrapped the spotter backrest / seat cushion and engine cover seat myself with marine grade foam / vinyl a few years ago because I didn't want to spend the cash to have it all redone (spent it on the engine). The side rail cushions were also removed and I never had a chance to repair or replace them. The fiberglass has signs of wear you're not going to see in the pics. Some surface spider cracks here and there, and I've posted pics of the worst spots. (1) passenger side rail. 2) The previous owner power loaded the boat with no pads on the front of the trailer and cracked the fiberglass. Both of these can be repaired by a fiberglass pro, I just don't do body work and never had a chance to take it anywhere. The gauge cluster has a short somewhere and the only ones that work are the speedo / battery voltage gauge (fuel works intermittently). I don't do electric work either, but I tried repairing and was unable to do so. If that's a big deal to you, you may need to replace the gauges and have them rewired by a professional. All of that said, I'm being as open and honest about this boat as I can because I don't want to waste anyone's time... especially if you're planning on traveling to see it. It's been a great boat for us, and my ONLY motivation to sell is to replace it with something that has more space for the family. Priced accordingly, but will entertain serious offers / inquiries. No joy rides, low balls, trades or BS. If you want a video of the engine running - let me know and I'll message that to you.
