Thanks for a wonderful car buying experience. I was able to negotiate a deal with Alfonso over the phone/email before making the drive out for San Diego. When I got to the dealer, Abid, helped with the paperwork and actual delivery of the car. David, the finance manager, was very helpful and made the entire buying process a breeze.

Car was in for safety recall 2 recalls one was front seatbelts when I picked up my car as I was driving I could hear a rattle the passenger seat was loose and rattling I returned to Diamond Valley Honda The service advisor came out, rattled the seat move the seat forward and tighten the bolt by hand he said is that good or do you want to have somebody put a wrench on it.????????  I think it should be tightened don’t you ?????? When I got home now I noticed dirty greasy fingerprints on the sides and back of the seats.

Our experience with Diamond Valley on 7/6/25 was incredible! From the moment we stepped out on the lot, we were greeted, but not in an overly salesperson way. They were genuinely happy to have us there. I had called prior to make sure numbers were where I wanted them to be, and the Manager Anthony was extremely helpful and got us to where we could make a deal! Once we arrived, we were set up with Michael P. to go over the car and finalize everything! Michael was an phenomenal sales rep. He was friendly, understanding and we didn't feel any stress being there. It was honestly such a smooth process and him and my husband hit off with hobbies! LOL - All in all, we are in love with our Honda Prologue. I would HIGHLY recommend Michael P. to work with and negotiate with Anthony. Our transaction was a breeze, we were out of there within 2 hours! Will definitely be back when we need a second vehicle! Thank you guys again!!

This is by far is the absolute worst dealership that I have ever experienced in the 10 years being a loyal Honda customer. As soon as I walked through the service doors and started speaking with Angela, I immediately had a bad taste in my mouth. I first asked to speak with the service advisor I originally scheduled my appointment with and was told he wasn't there. Okay fine, so I shrugged that off, no biggie right? I then explained to her that I was there for a B1 service but also brought up that I had concerns due to my oil pressure light flashing a few times within the last 2 weeks. I was then told no technician could look at my car for that as I only made an appointment for an oil change and was also told they didn't have anyone who was able to look at that car for that specific concern.
First of all, what dealership tells a customer that has a concerning problem with their car that because they didn't make an appointment for that issue, they weren't able to at least look at it just to make sure there were no major issues, especially when the censor/oil pressure issues could mean so many things which if not resolved could lead to engine failure in the future if not resolved. I then told Angela to just do the B1 service and I would take it back to the Lake Elsinore Honda like I normally do (which by the way is the best Honda dealership I have been to in the IE)
About maybe an hour later I called the dealership to speak with Carlos since I received a text message a few minutes prior with the multi point inspection report and wanted to gather more details to see if maybe they found anything pertaining to the oil pressure censor light coming on.
I was then told by Carlos that I needed to change my engine filter (which is part of the B1 service), cabin filter, replace the tires and get an alignment.
I told Carlos that I did not want them to change the cabin filter (as I can do this myself), change the tires or the alignment and to proceed with the other items needed to complete the B1 service.
Maybe about 2 hours later when I came to pick up the vehicle, I again spoke with Angela and mentioned I had a coupon that I wanted to use for the B1 service and she proceeded to tell me that I was not able to use it because the coupon was supposed to be for a B1 service/tire rotation and all I received was an oil change. I then asked her why my tires were not rotated when my car dash alerted me for a B1 service which is what I came in for to begin with which should include a tire rotation, engine filter replacement, & engine oil in that specific service. Angela then proceeded to tell me the mechanics did not rotate the tires because the tires were even on all sides so I didn't need the rotation and the best she could do was give me 10 dollars off. Even after receiving the 10 dollars off, I still ended up paying $140, which a B1 service costs $150 which again includes a tire rotation, that I did not receive. So not only was I overcharged but didn't even receive the full service I was supposed to get in the first place. After paying, I asked if my car would be brought up if I waited outside for my vehicle and was told the mechanic would bring it up. I waited for the vehicle only to have a mechanic walk up to me, hand me my key and tell me it was parked near the mechanic garage where they pull the cars to service.
I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with the service I was provided by this dealership.
Not only should the general manager be held accountable but so should the service manager due to lack of incompetence their employees have here. I tried to give this location a chance despite having an issue here years ago but decided maybe things have changed, but I was definitely completely wrong. I will absolutely never come back to this location and will be calling corporate to ensure my complaint is sent over to the district manager so they are aware the lack of service this location provides.

My wife and I had a great experience buying our car from Michael Palmer at Diamond Valley Honda. He went above and beyond to make the process smooth and stress-free. Michael was friendly, knowledgeable, and never made us feel pressured. His company should be grateful to have someone like him on their team—he was truly great! Carlos in financing was also fantastic and made the paperwork easy and clear. Highly recommend asking for Michael if you're shopping for a car.
