Vintage Omega Ranchero 2990 1

Omega Ranchero 30mm (Reference 2990-1), originally introduced by Omega in 1958. Designed to complement iconic tool watches like the Speedmaster and Seamaster, it features a highly distinctive black dial layout characterized by its broad-arrow hour hand, exploding Arabic numerals at 12, 3, and 9, and a small seconds sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position. Because the name "Ranchero" (meaning "ranch hand" in Spanish) was poorly received in Spanish-speaking markets, the model was commercialized for only about two years before being discontinued, making genuine surviving examples incredibly rare and highly prized by collectors today. All original except for the band which is normal age-related. This watch is powered by the original-style Omega manual-wind Caliber 267 movement, marked 17 jewels, and is currently running and keeping time.
