Heart Shaped Etched Aletai Meteorite Slice Pendant 2.3 g/1.4x1.6mm w/ Widmanstätten Pattern on 1 side (clear resin sealed face) Name: Aletai Classification: Nickel-Iron Group: IIIE Date of Find: 1898 GPS Coordinates: 45°52'16"N90°30'17"E (main mass) Observed Fall: No Total Known Weight estimated: 74 tons Location Found: China, Aletai County, Xinjiang Uyghur Region & Mongolia. A large iron was found by a local farmer in a valley in mountainous area of Aletai County. Chain, 1cm scale cube & digital scale not included in sale. I have been collecting meteorites, tektites & impact breccia from reputable worldwide hunters & dealers for more than 25 years & I am reducing my collection to offer this fine specimen for sale. Slice is acid etched & features characteristic & stunning Widmanstätten pattern on 1 side & sealed with a clear epoxy resin. Actual item pictured from several angles.
