The ZEBRA AGATE is a reddish-brown stone with white-banded markings, similar to that of zebra, hence, the name. It’s a sedimentary stone formed hundreds of millions of years ago when clay deposits were compacted into layers, which formed the red/brown bandings. Shaped and. lightly sanded to remove some of the naturally occuring orange rust coloring. Zebra Stone is a sedimentary stone that formed over 600 million years ago. Weathering and erosion formed clay deposits that compacted into layers, which then created the characteristic bandings. This ZEBRA AGATE was found in the Natural shape of a Heart!
