It was purchased from a seller who’d just lost her beloved boyfriend. It was primarily his chair and she said it carried too many memories for her to hold on to. She’d also had a cat that scratched the leather in one of the arms of the chair prior to me purchasing it. Even though I have a severe allergy to cats, I still went through with the purchase because of my desire to own one of these chairs!
