Overview: Up for sale is an incredible 1948 painting of the iconic St. Bartholomew's Church on lake Konigsee in Bavaria, Germany. Oil on masonite board. Painting is signed "L. Christ" and dated 2.9.48 at lower right. An incredible rendition of the famed church. It is framed in an awesome, elaborately-carved wood frame. Condition: Painting shows minor wear consistent with age. Frame shows minor rubbing wear, including a small crack. Measurements: Painting measures 9.5 inches high x 7.25 inches wide. Frame measures 13.5 inches high x 11.25 inches wide.
