Description
I am selling what’s left of my old gaming pc. It received several upgrades but the core components have largely been the same since approximately 2018. It is not entirely functional in its current state, and I would only recommend purchasing this if you’re familiar with computers, PC building, and parts. I also have a used microphone and new keyboard for sale alongside or with the computer. Computer Price: $120 PC Specs: GPU: AMD Vega 56 8GB - this graphics card was purchased around late 2017/early 2018 and was actively used for gaming/personal use (no crypto mining) for 6 years. I believe it is defective at this point, but I’m not entirely sure if it’s the source of the issue. Details at the end of the description below. CPU: Ryzen 3600X - this CPU was personally installed around late 2021 and actively used since then. I never overclocked it, but it is unlocked and also fitted with a ThermalTake cooler (not sure of the specific model). Definitely the most notable component here. Motherboard: ASUS B450 - this motherboard was purchased with the original components and actively used. It is notably lacking the screw to secure an m.2 SSD into its slot, but those can be purchased on their own. RAM: 16GB DDR4 - frankly, I don’t know what brand this RAM is. I’m fairly certain it’s DDR4, though. PSU: Cougar CMX1000 Bronze - this is a 1000W bronze-certified power supply purchased with the original components. It was absolute overkill at the time and it’s still overkill. Not sure why I bought it, but it’s in there. Works fine, does not come with any additional cables besides what is inside. Case/Fans: Corsair Carbide - this is a great case, I really love it although it’s seen better days. Missing a rear thumbscrew to secure a side panel (still secured by one screw), missing some of the rear port covers as well. Matte black, a bit dusty, but sturdy and sleek. Case fans are not stock but I’m not sure of their specific model. Keyboard and Microphone: Tonor Microphone: purchased on Amazon and used for a while until I upgraded. It works, it’s a USB microphone. $10 alone, free with the PC. RGB Keyboard: this keyboard came with my new PC, it’s new in box, I really don’t know anything else about it other than I didn’t need it. $10 alone, free with the PC. In addition to not containing any storage, this PC did start to experience occasional crashing and mediocre performance for the last several months before I upgraded earlier this year. It could run most modern games (Baldur’s Gate, Call of Duty MW3, Helldivers 2) on low settings. Rarely, particularly when playing world of warcraft, the PC would go black and the fans would full throttle until I powered it off and restarted. I believe this is the GPU being faulty, but I’m unsure. As such, as I mentioned before, I wouldn’t recommend buying this as a gift, but as either a repair project or parts PC.
