If someone tells you these years of Prius or Lexus hybrids have no issues — it just means the problems are still waiting for you. I prefer to be honest and tell exactly what’s already been done on mine. Major maintenance: Head gasket replaced at 132k miles. ABS system replaced at 154k miles. Other work: Radiator replaced around 139k. Front shocks replaced at 130k (sport-type, ride is a bit firmer). New 12V battery, fresh oil, new front pads, and brand-new tires this month. Upgrades (all aftermarket): CarPlay system with large screen and rear-view camera. Front dash cam included. Built-in GPS tracker — just need to activate the subscription. Owned for 2 years, around 13,500 miles per year — normal for Los Angeles. Carfax report included. Light polish and full detailing just done — paint looks good, interior is tidy, smells good, and shows little wear. Registered and passed smog check in September 2025, clean title in hand. Of course, don’t expect a perfect showroom condition — it’s a clean, well-kept car, but there are small scuffs and scratches on the bumpers and hood from normal use. Small cons: Suspension is firmer due to sport shocks. Tire pressure light sometimes stays on — likely a TPMS sensor issue (pressure is fine). Some rear plastic trim is slightly faded. Average fuel economy is 38–40 MPG, very efficient for city driving. If you’re interested, ask questions about the car and come see it in person.
