For sale: a type of Ginger (sorry I can't elaborate further, want to figure out exactly what it is I'll let you know and update this) that makes for a pretty ornamental fixture. This item grows with effectively no maintenance whatsoever (you don't even need to water them if you live here in Florida) and can be further proliferated by digging up the bulb and splicing it into pieces at your discretion to create a nice bed of these beautiful plants which produce pretty purplish flowers as can be seen in the photograph number two. I do not believe this to be edible Ginger, so I err on the side of caution and deem this ornamental Ginger though the bulb and it looks and smells an awful lot like standard Ginger. A variety of these plants are available from Little sprouts to larger ones like the one in the first photo. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this item.
