Description
Selling my 1994 Epiphone Joe Pass, made at the Samick factory in Korea. This is one of the early Korean-built models that many players consider better than later runs — great craftsmanship, solid feel, and a warm classic jazz tone. Condition: • Light cosmetic wear from age and normal playing (see photos) • Flatwound strings installed for a smooth jazz feel • Electronics all work, but the pots are a little scratchy and could use a cleaning (still playable as-is) • Neck is straight, frets are in good shape, and the guitar plays well Features: • All-maple hollowbody • Classic gold hardware • Two humbuckers with mellow, rounded jazz tone • Comfortable neck profile for comping and chord work • Joe Pass signature headstock Why it’s special: These early-mid ’90s Samick-built Epiphones have a strong reputation for build quality and tone. This one has that warm, smoky sound you want from a jazz box, especially paired with flatwounds. Includes: Guitar hard case Price: $600 (open to reasonable offers) Pickup in SODO or West Seattle (nights/weekends) Cash only
