Description
Subwoofers in excellent condition still have the box only had it hooked up for a short time Sony makes just about everything, and their addition to sub-$200 monitors is no exception. The SACS9 is a full featured subwoofer that pumps out thunderous bass. Sony shows why their name is so prominent in, well, every field. Design The design here is a little barren. Upon first glance, the subwoofer appears like just a black box, with a removable front grille that has a beveled edge on the top. Removing the grille reveals a navy blue speaker cone much in tune with the rest of Sony’s speakers. Overall, I can’t complain about the feature set here for the price. A tunable crossover provides a nice range that really helps reign in low-end, and a phase switch means that you can really get the most out of the subwoofer. While some additional tweaking options are always nice to see, the lack of them wasn’t missed much here. That’s largely due to the fact that...
