Heavy duty cast iron Craftsman “100” ball bearing Wood Lathe; 9 Inch by 30 Inch; Model 103.23870; Manufactured in ~1950. Comes with factory tool rest and . Great condition, needs nothing, ready to use immediately. Newer single phase ball bearing 1/2hp (.5hp), 1750rpm Craftsman motor (model 113.12120) can be run from any house, garage, or shop outlet. Custom motor mount/base makes it easy to change spindle speeds. Lathe is mounted on 60" woodworking bench with four drawers, a woodworking vise, and has been reinforced to prevent wobbling. Bench is bolted to a weighted rolling base with locking casters. The weighted base improves tool stability when in use; the locking casters and narrow footprint make it easy to move around without taking up too much floor space. It weighs about 300 pounds as pictured. (The wood lathe weighs ~80lbs; the bench ~100lbs; the base ~100lbs.) Lathe, workbench, and base can be separated for sale and or transport.
