It has four cameras. On the front -- tucked in the black pill-shaped hole dubbed "Dynamic Island" -- is a "TrueDepth" camera that in addition to supporting Face ID, takes 12 megapixel photos and shoots 4K video. The rear packs a "Pro camera system" with a 48 megapixel "Main" camera, a 12 megapixel "Ultra Wide" camera, and a 12 megapixel "Telephoto" camera.

Compared to earlier iPhone models, the rear camera system in the iPhone 14 Pro provides a quad-pixel sensor for improved low-light capture and detail, a new "Photonic Engine" for improved computational photography, an "Action mode" for improved stability, and an improved "Cinematic mode" with a simulated depth effect at 4K (30 fps, 24 fps) and "ProRes" codec compatibility (1080p on the 128 GB configuration and 4K on higher capacity configurations).

The iPhone 14 Pro uses a stainless steel case with flat sides and has a glass front and back. The front has a "Ceramic Shield" cover for durability and the back has an integrated "MagSafe" magnetic charging connection. It is splash, water, and dust-resistant to the IP68 standard (maximum depth of 6 meters up to 30 minutes). It has four color options -- dark "Deep Purple," Silver, Gold, and "Space Black."

Internally, the iPhone 14 Pro is powered by a 3.5 GHz "Apple A16 Bionic" processor with six cores -- two performance cores and four efficiency cores -- as well as a 5-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. It has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of flash storage. It also supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO, 5G wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, Ultra Wideband "for spatial awareness," NFC for Apple Pay, "Express Cards with power reserve" for compatible transit systems, Crash Detection, Emergency SOS via satellite, and support for dual eSIMs (it does not support hardware SIM cards at all).
