Description
Holiday Rambler Imperial 36ft Diesel Pusher with a 5.9L Cummins, an Alison transmission and Oshkosh (Freightliner) chassis. Kinda the trifecta of bulletproof drivetrain components. The engine and transmission are in great shape! Front brakes are brand new, less than 100 miles on them. I've owned this coach since 2008. Equipped with a secondary tank that allows for the use of vegetable oil as fuel. I've been running on used vegetable oil since I had the vegetable oil system installed right after purchase (2008 and approximately 60,000 miles) and it is still running flawlessly. I collect and filter my own veggie oil down to 2 microns, which is cleaner than you can get fuel from at a filling station. The coach can run 100% on diesel if that is what you prefer. Front rooftop AC (in kitchen) was replaced a few years back and blows cold. It is a heater as well and keeps the front area of the coach warm. Fridge / freezer works great. Water pump works great. Hot water heater works great. No leaks in the plumbing (kitchen sink, bathroom sink, shower, etc). Renovated interior...bamboo hardwood throughout, vinyl soffit ceilings. Microwave / convection oven and stovetop in working order. Both rooftop fans work. _________ THE BAD. This coach is over 30 years old and has a few issues. Rear, bedroom AC no longer works. Furnace no longer works. It cycles through, but doesn't blow hot. We use the ceiling heat when necessary, but we also usually only use the RV in the summers. Generator starts and runs, but it takes some cajoling. Tires need replacement. There is a leak above the passenger side rear window that has caused some dry rot. The speedometer needs some work, it bounces around and does not give you an accurate reading. I just use Google maps for my speed. Headlights do not consistently work. I believe the switch on the instrument panel gets overheated and the headlights flash on and off. NOT SAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT at the moment. As is usual for older RVs, both the chassis and house batteries probably need replacing...it has been a few years. Let me know if you have any questions... Price is firm.
