A New Battery $8, Battery cover Approx $6 on eBay the major issue with the system is the disk drive doesn't want to read disks I have not spent a lot of time working on it so it is possible that a good lens cleaning or readjusting but if you make the purchase I would be prepared to replace the disk drive and be sure you know what you are doing this system in functional condition retails at $160 used
