This unit sounds warm and punchy, thanks to its vintage converters that ruled hiphop and other genres in the late 1990’s and the early 2000’s. The 2000XL is still being used by novice as well as the most successful and popular producers of today. Even younger producers are discovering the power and easy work flow of this machine as a sampler and sequencer. * The unit has red fat thick pads, max memory installed, a new pad sensor sheet, variation slider and pot has been replaced, as well as several tact switches and the screen is in good shape, with no immediate need to replace. The floppy drive works(I will include a few floppy disk to get started). The unit has been cleaned inside and out. The audio circuits are free of dust and static. This MPC 2000XL is ready to go.
