Description

Beautiful vintage Heisey Crystolite candy dish, pattern in the pattern "Crystolite No. 1503". It was manufactured by Heisey Glass in Newark, Ohio, between 1938 and 1957. This is most likely manganese glass which is causing it to glow under UV light, but the Geiger count was not measured to rule out uranium. This is in great condition for its age and use, but does not include the original lid. There are no cracks or chips but does have scratching on the bottom of the dish from use. Please see photos for more details about condition as they are part of the description of the item.This piece is pretty think and heavy. It weighs 1 lb 15 oz - so just under 2lbs. It is very sturdy!
