Description

The James is missing the anvil cap fuse for $600 The Hotchkiss is missing the sabot for $250 These are Union Shells. The Confederacy adopted this design from a pre Civil War patent with one difference. It was a solid piece of metal with ribs that ran downwards (Halfway down to the bottom of the shell. It is believed that 99% of them were produced in Texas.
