Description

In 1930's-50's this was the state of the art in portable lighting. There is two sources of light on this lantern. From the top which is less illuminating than the front. Measures 9 inches tall, 5 inches in diameter. They ran off 6 volt batteries and is fitted with incandescent bulbs (the front bulb is missing). The top light works as you can see. At one point I put a new build in the flashlight portion and it still didn't work. I'm sure it could be fixed, but I am no 1930's lantern specialist. This lantern will work as a piece of art or decor. Could go well in a rustic or steam punk environment, would also work as a movie or play prop. Selling the thing as is given its current condition. Battery is not included but can easily be purchased at hardware store. The bail handle adjusts as well.
