Fjelldal Loft Bed - IKEA Classic no longer made

This is one of the best things IKEA formerly produced. It is much better than any of the flimsy looking bunks/lofts they have now. It does have lots of parts and a long instruction book which I have. I believe that resulted in a higher sale price than IKEA was desiring so they discontinued it. It is VERY stable and elegant. The manual cover is attached and shows one of the customizations I had to do. I took 8 “ off the height because our ceilings are low. There is still 56” of clearance below that has not hampered play or another bed below. The overall dimensions are 73 1/4 H x 80” L x 58 1/4 W. It takes a double mattress and no box spring. The finish is a golden maple with stainless accents. Ladder must go on long side, but can attach left or right. I added a custom headboard at one end so I could attach a reading lamp. I’m including these for the price, but you don’t have to take them. Also, there is a desk top that can attach to inside or outside the frame. Again, in the price but take it or leave it. Cash only.
