Striking quilt from the 1920's/30's! Lightning bolt pattern with knotted yarn accents in light blue and white cotton.Hand sewn bias and knots with machine sewn pieces. Measures approximately 73" x 49". Stitches are pretty consistent at 5 per inch. Overall, it's a medium weight at just over 3 pounds. All top colors are bright, and the underside is a crisp light blue. No stains, no sun bleached spots, no smells. There is one tiny area where the squares of fabric are separating. The bias edges and corners show some wear from years of everyday use. These are the only issues attests to the loving care this quilt has received!
