Description

Engine was pulled from a 2004 CLK55 AMG. It was running and passed compression and leak down test. The valve stem seals were worn and one of the oil rings was worn. Otherwise it was running great, just burning oil. The valve stem seals were professionally installed and it cleaned up the oil burn but after spending $4k on diagnostics and new stem seals it was more cost effective to get a replacement engine at the time. It had 151k miles on it and the cylinders didn’t show any signs of excessive wear. I kept the engine for a few years planning on rebuilding it but haven’t gotten around to it. It’s pretty complete. Would just need the normal assembly hardware to go back together. No stripped threads or cracks in the block. Pistons were all numbered and put into totes. Open for trades or cars, audio equipment, computers or 2A items.
