The interaction started off decent but towards the end I walked away and saved myself from getting ripped off…………..test drove an Acura RL with 100k miles the first days and despite a few dead infotainment screen that controls the ac and heat too there were no lights on the dash and I liked the car and decided to sleep on it and return the next day to most likely purchase it.
I’m so glad I did!!!
I plugged in a scanner in the OBDII port and discovered ‘20’ detected codes that were never going to be disclosed had I never checked. When I asked about it I was told “we didnt know but it doesn’t really matter as long as the engine and transmission are okay we don’t worry about that it’s on the customers.” - That’s a scam if I’ve ever heard one.
A dealership that sells cars but doesn’t disclose the defaults. Sal, the owner came in and couldn’t even look me in the eye to explain but rather condescendingly spoke to me through the salesman and never directly though he was 3 feet away. I would hate to think race was involved, but hey! Money will make people tolerate you just enough for your business!
