Description

This is an MCD 40 pint de-humidifier. It functions as intended to remove water from the air but the humidistat control needs to be replaced, so once you plug it in, it keeps running until the tank is full and then shuts off. Normally you are able to set the humidity control and when the moisture in the air gets low enough it shuts off. That doesn't happen with this unit because the humidistat needs to be replaced. So, new 40 point de-humidifiers are about $150, but I am letting it go for $30 because you either need to repair it or use it in its less than perfect condition. By the way, if you are handy, I don't think replacing the humidistat control is a big deal.
