Relic 2000 Squier Telecaster Vintage Style Tele

I relic guitars for friends for fun. I built this one for a buddy and it recently came back to me because he wanted to trade it towards a relic’d Strat I finished this week. Originally the guitar had a maple fretboard neck but I think tuxedo Telecasters look best with rosewood necks. This is a light relic, definitely not the crazy sanded things all over Offer Up these days. All the parts are aged by me to the desired wear and look. The frets are polished, the rosewood has a deep conditioning, and the neck is smooth with a finish somewhere between a satin and a semigloss. A new set of Ernie Ball Cobalts 10-48 strings were just put on. As requested by my buddy a “Fender” decal was applied to the headstock before the nitro clear coat. Again, this a 2000 Squier Tele made in Indonesia and NOT AN AMERICAN guitar made in Corona… not trying to misrepresent anything. That said, it is 25 years old so the wood has aged according and has terrific tone. There are minor surface paint cracks in the neck pocket area. These are purely surface, typical with poly finishes as they age, not into the wood (see last photo) The price is $200.00 and I am firm on the price because a lot of time is invested plus buying the 1 ply pickguard, correct decals come from my guy in the UK, amber nitrocellulose lacquer for the neck, etc. No case nor gig bag included, sorry.
