Combining the specialized speaker for deep bass with a built-in amplifier to provide power, this component features Sony's patented Advanced SAW subwoofer design. A top-mounted level control allows you to match the output of the subwoofer to the rest of your system. The Movie and Music modes allow you to optimize the subwoofer's performance for different sources. The Power Save feature turns the amplifier on when a signal is sensed and turns the amplifier off if no signal is received for a period of several minutes. This powered sub only has RCA preamp inputs (no speaker-level inputs). Front and Surround Satellites: Each satellite has a 2"x4" cone driver in a bass-reflex enclosure. Each satellite has a set of spring clip terminals that will accept bare wire and pin connectors. Each speaker is covered by a non-removable, light gray cloth grille. Center Speaker: The center speaker has two 2"x4" cone drivers in a bass-reflex enclosure. The center speaker's set of spring clip terminals will accept bare wire and pin connectors. The center speaker is covered by a non-removable, light gray cloth grille. Satellite and Center Speaker Mounting: Each satellite has an M5 (5mm) threaded insert on the back. The satellites can be mounted on the wall using an optional bracket or an M5 (5mm) screw (not included). In addition, the satellites can be mounted on an optional Sony stand (WS-FV10C ,WS-TV10 and WS-WV10). The included rubber feet allow the center channel to be placed firmly on top of your television.
