This is both ideal for protecting your table when wearing shoes or boots and also gives this entire set a rugged appeal on top of it's sleek beauty. Normal wear and tear are present. But you will find that this Nordviken bar table set has been cherished and well taken care of. When you bring it home you will find that it doesn't need to be cleaned. Every detail has been addressed to make it as clean, sturdy and pristine as possible. The stools come with (4) IKEA Justina chair pads in beige. They are brand new and I left the tags on them in case you would like to go to IKEA and exchange them for a different color of your choice. Minor superficial scratches are present here and there. Most are not noticeable at all, and nothing about this table is a deal breaker. It's been priced generously considering it's original price. You will not find perfection here, you will have to pay double for that and go to the store and purchase a new set and pay tax and spend several hours assembling it. But then it will be perfect until you have your first "whoops"! Things get bumped, a plate gets slid in the wrong direction, someone sets their glass down a little too hard. I'm not saying these are things that have happened to THIS table but they will... it's inevitable. This particular Nordviken bar table set is about as close to perfection as you will find at this price.
