This couch is perfect for visitors! We pulled out the mattress one time to watch a movie and haven't used it since. We had it for about of year. It's in good condition. It's very comfortable! The only thing is that it's really heavy to lift and move. You would need someone to help move it and a truck. There no cats in our home. I do have a dog but he is not allowed on the couch. Smoke free home! There are no rips but you can see in a picture on the inside of the couch the cuahion has some fabric fraying at the seams. Measurements: Length Width Height
