Handmade (USA) Sea Shell Candle Holder by Artist Elizabeth Duval

This is a one of a kind, handmade in the USA, candle holder that is 19” tall w/o candle. The base that is 9.5” in diameter and the top part is 7” in diameter. The round mirrored portion at the top that holds a candle, is 4” in diameter. We purchased this about 15 or 20 years ago and paid $285 for it. It comes from a smoke free home. It is in excellent condition and free of any damage or repairs. The artist / designer is Elizabeth Duval and her studio is / was identified as De La Mer. Not too sure if she is still in operation. Her info is on the base of the holder, along with the original price sticker. As previously mentioned, this 19” tall candle holder is made with sea shells and is very unique. Crushed / ground shells are used for filler between the different types of shells that are attached. It displays very well in any setting (modern, vintage, antique, etc). The pictured candle does not come with the holder. I put it on the holder just to show what a candle looks like on it. We never had a candle on it when we had it displayed. It is very neat and unique with it without a candle.
