1991 Mitsubishi Montero

Up for sale is my beloved gen 1 Mitsubishi Montero. It has 284000 miles, with an engine completely rebuilt at around 220k miles. These trucks will go forever. Smogged and pink slip on hand. Recent work: New exhaust manifold New iridium spark plugs Throttle valve rebuild New electrical starter Upgrades: New gaskets, timing belt and water pump less than 1k miles ago -“Leo” radiator with increased BTU exchange (285,00 BTU with updated transcooler. it will never heat on you) - Full suspension overhaul - all disc brakes, back breaks are from a gen 2.5 and it has a factory rear differential locker that just needs to be plugged in -upgraded alternator 140a max, 70-90a at hot idle -professional rebuilt throttle body -new upholstered front seats and vinyl floor to keep the truck clean when you go off-roading -comes with a roof rack (see last picture) - upgraded transmission to a gen 2 manual (improved synchros, I believe this is the only truck that has this incredible mod) the not-so-greats - idle jumps sometimes. i believe this is from the isc valve I bought when i rebuilt the throttle body - its got some dings This truck is the perfect blend of old and new. I have upgraded the transmission, brakes, cooler, amps like if it was a newer truck while keeping the classic 90s toaster look. I hope you love it as much as I do.
