DJI Neo Mini Drone

The DJI Neo is a great beginner drone (not a toy) with many features found on higher-end drones. The Neo is typically available for $199 (drone with one battery). I am ready to move up to a more expensive drone. For $150, I am selling this drone with a storage/carrying case, an extra guard around the camera gimbal, and two additional batteries with a three-battery charger. You also get a charging module, charging cord, and spare blades which are likely to never be needed as the drone blades are fully guarded. This drone records 4k video and can perform six pre-programmed flight patterns without any type of controller. I mainly used it to video bike rides. (See photos) The drone can be paired with a smart phone and the DJI Fly app to adjust the parameters of the six pre-programmed flight patterns and initiate those flights. With a smart phone, the user can also select manual control of free-flight in either portrait or landscape mode with virtual controls and live video feedback. (See photos) A physical controller can be purchased for a more physical or tactile feel (buttons and joysticks). The physical controller is also paired with a smart phone and the DJI Fly app. (See photos) For programmed flights, videos are automatic. For manual flight with a controller, videos are manually started and stopped and photos can be taken. Both with and without a controller, the six pre-programmed flight take-offs are automatic from the user’s hand or any flat surface. Landings without a controller are initiated by extension of the user’s palm-up hand (the drone lands in the hand) while controller landings (programmed or manual) are initiated by the user lowering the drone to one meter elevation, after which the drone lands automatically. For manually controlled flight, take-off is initiated and then automatically executed to an elevation of one meter. The user takes over from there. Upon low-battery, the drone lands completely automatically.
