I found many similar stem designs being called, Amaryllis or Tulip. These glasses look more similar to what people call Amaryllis. Each bowl is emerging from the handblown stem like a flower blooming with three petals. Each handblown stem top is unique with slight variances in-between. These variances create a natural diversity between luminosity, reflections and even sound. • These glasses were well taken care of by my mother. I am fairly certain she purchased them in the early ‘80s when she moved into a new house. They are in excellent vintage condition without scratches or chips. • These glasses have a beautiful crystal sound. The sound varies slightly between the glasses even of the same size. I can only attribute this to the minor differences between the “stem top petals” which are handblown. These variances also create variety in light and reflection. • I like the way these glasses can be held just under where the petals connect to the bowl.
