Description

Canadian Art Pottery 1940s Dripless Brown Teapot Hand Painted Leaves, 4.5x6.5” Rich chocolate-brown glaze, hand-painted splashes of yellow and green leaves. A charming vintage piece with history baked right in. Great vintage condition consistent with its age. Defects & imperfections - please check pictures made under the bright light & magnification: • Small chips along the inner rim • Minor wear around spout opening • Light scuffing and glaze skips in a few spots Pictures are part of the description, please check them & let me know if you require additional ones. Fascinating Fun Facts: • Canadian Art Pottery (Hamilton, Ontario) was active from the 1930s–1950s and is known for its rich glazes and hand-decorated utilitarian wares. • The patented “Dripless” spout design was engineered with a subtle curve and lip to prevent tea from running down the outside of the pot — a major selling point at the time, when messy dribbles were a common frustration. Dimensions: 4.5 x 6.5 in Weight: 1 lb 9 oz Love more than one item from my store? Feel free to message me—I’m always happy to combine shipping or create a custom bundle just for you.
