2001 Korean Born Takamine EG540C -G series Acoustic Electric Guitar

2001 Takamine EG540C acoustic-electric guitar in the Transparent Red gloss finish. This guitar is in great condition and it has been very well cared for. Straight neck, great action, great sound. This guitar was made in Korea and features the Takamine TK4N Active Preamp system. Perfect for gigging, it is reliable and it features a 3-Band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble), Volume control, a Mid Contour switch for instant modern tone-shaping, and a dedicated Notch Filter dial to completely eliminate on-stage feedback. This specific 2001 is built with a traditional Spruce top paired with Nato back and sides. These tonewoods have had 25 years to naturally dry out and fully mature resulting in a stable resonant sound and open voice that is hard to find on a more modern guitar. It really has a good balanced sound with a very warm tone with a rich low-end resonance. A few small dings and two very thin scratches that are noticeable if the light hit the gloss just right. Shown in one of the photos. This is a fair price and priced to sell. No ridiculous offers. I don’t need to sell any of the guitars that I am listing. Just trying to make room for more guitars.
