This adapter is ideal as it will be in line with the saw/adapter and your body. If you are willing to take the 5 minutes to modify the saw this is the best bet. Again this will not fit without removing the shoe and roller guide! I have 4 different style tips to choose. They are all threaded and interchangeable with my adapter only. I cannot tell you if they will fit a different adapter.
