Selling this used Penn Battle 3 Surf Spin Fishing Rod and reel. The reel is a Penn battle 6000 sized spinning reel loaded with 50 lb braid. This is a 6 bearing reel, super smooth with a 5.6:1 gear ratio. Missing a cap on the reel knob and the plastic end cap on the opposite side of the handle. Easily obtainable parts that just snap on or are purely cosmetic. Still fully functional. This reel has powerful drags...you can get a maximum 25 lbs of drag which can handle large fish like tuna, yellowtail as well as anything you can cstch from the surf. The rod is a Penn Battle 3 PS902, rated for 20-50 lb test. Well used with some scuffs and scratches from normal use...9 ft long, med-heavy, 2-piece do it breaks apart easily. Fish it from the beach or rocks for big rays or shark or off a boat for anything from rockfish and lingcod, to yellowtail, halibut, mahimahi, seabass, tuna....very versatile setup.
