American Optical AO Safety Original Pilot Gold 521/20 bayonet aviator sunglasses with the original non-polarized glass lenses in great condition. The frames are original 24k Gold aviator frames that were issued to Naval Aviators in the 60-70's. They have been disassembled, cleaned, and straightened back to original specifications. The plastic pieces on the frame have some yellowing, see pictures. The gold frame rates a 8/10, with some wear marks shown in the pictures. The glass lenses are very nice, rating a 9.5/10. The frames are 5.25" wide. Please use that as a guide, with a pair of glasses that fit your face, to make sure these will fit your face. Please do this before you bid. The frames are extensively detailed, but they are not new. I do my best, but I cannot make them new. Comes with original soft or hard case, your choice. A piece of military history in excellent condition.
