Andy Warhol - Jean-Michel Basquiat & Keith Haring Collaboration Jackets 1985 - FIRM

I purchased these two amazing pieces of history from a gentleman living in Brooklyn New York several years ago. The story goes the two jackets were found in a building in Greenwich village area that was due to be cleared out, reconstructed and remodeled back in the early 2000's. The two jackets were going to be thrown away; but were kept by the gentleman from the demolition team who eventually sold the jackets to me back in 2023. On the jackets there is a collage picture of Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Harings artwork printed on it. Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat are pictured with boxing gloves on. The names Tony Shafrazi and Bruno Bischofberger appear above the image of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat - And below their image you will see info for the gallery collaboration event that took place September 14 to October 19, 1985. Keith Haring was also a part of the roll-out of artist showcased at the gallery back in October 26 to November 30, 1985. So, I googled Tony Shafrazi's name and it appear that this event outlined on both jackets collage took place at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery back in 1985. When you go to Tony Shafrazi Gallery website and look under Past Auctions, the information printed on the jackets; for this gallery collaboration between Andy Warhol , Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring event all comes right up under the year 1985. So that means these jackets were made for that event! And that also means that Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring were all still alive when these jackets were made for that collaboration event. These two jackets are custom made. They are brand new condition never worn with No Tags. These high quality jackets for this collaboration event was never mass produced or sold to the public.
