1985 Honda Nighthawk

Fully restored radioactive-green 1985 Honda Nighthawk (CB650SC), aka the Super Gecko. I bought the bike in 2023 from the mechanic who did the restoration, and it’s a great vehicle but one that deserves more road time than I can give it. Recent updates post-sale include carb clean/tune (November 2025), new battery (May 2025), new tires (2023), and new instrument panel (May 2025). It’s due for an oil change which I will do prior to sale. Clean title and tags good through March. The pros: -Absolutely delightful ride -Suitable for shorter riders (I have a 29" inseam and can solidly touch both balls of my feet down. The weight distribution of the bike is also such that it doesn't get scary at a standstill) -Package deal with a mechanic who knows the bike (if you want) -Older bike = cheaper insurance The cons: -Weak horn in my opinion. (Ideally I wanted something that would blast the eardrums off people being stupid on the road, and this horn is not it). I do have a new horn setup that I got for a different bike and never installed, and I’d be happy to include it with the sale, but full disclosure I’m not sure if it’s compatible. -Older bikes are older bikes. This one is about as solid as you can get for being elderly, but if you’re a bike owner you know that older bikes will always require a little more TLC. -The bike has always been cold-blooded, and needs some choke to start up and a bit of warm-up time, especially in cooler weather.
