I am reducing my world music instrument collection and selling this Greek bouzouki which has been gathering dust. It is in very good condition. These are commonly used in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern music and are a lot of fun to play. The standard tuning for a Greek bouzouki is like the top four strings of a guitar tuned down a whole step (i.e., C-F-A-D), so if you play guitar you'll find the chord shapes and scale patterns identical. Doubled strings (octaves on lower two courses & unisons on upper courses) produce a loud but mesmerizing sound. Includes a hard case and over 20 sets of strings.
