🇰🇷 Late 90s Danelectro U2 Loaded Guitar Body – Original Lipsticks & Stacked Knobs $200 OBO

Selling a classic late-1990s Korean-made Danelectro U2 electric guitar body in a beautiful vintage slate/blue-grey finish. I have personally owned this body for over 20 years. These first-wave Korean reissues are highly sought after for their build quality and authentic tone, making this an awesome foundation for a project build. I recently bolted a Starcaster neck onto it just to test it out and make sure everything is 100% solid before listing. The electronics are completely fine, the 3-way toggle switch works perfectly, and it is fully ready for a new neck. The Sound & Specs Original Lipstick Pickups: These are legendary for a reason. They are super, super twangy with incredible clarity. If you're looking for that classic Danelectro chime, country twang, or snappy funk, this is the exact body you want. Authentic Concentric Controls: Features the true-to-vintage concentric stacked knobs (Volume and Tone for each pickup on dual-tier pots). Classic Hardware: Includes the original metal bridge plate with the traditional wooden rosewood saddle, and the iconic clear pickguard with the gold "D" logo. Classic Dano Construction: The iconic white side tape is intact, giving it that perfect retro aesthetic. Large circular cream cavity cover on the back. This is the ultimate plug-and-play project piece. Drop your favorite compatible neck on it, string it up, and you’ve got a unique, twangy machine with tons of character. Local pickup in the Whittier area.
