Description
Up for sale is my hand build giant faith 2 downhill bike, I have built this thing from a bare frame to what it is now, I love this bike and took it to duthie, Stevens pass, Eastern Washington, all over the Seattle area but it's time now to let it go, it has been in storage for a few years and needs to be ridden. 06ishbgiant faith 2 frame Marzocchi 888 RC2XVA triple tree fork Marzocchi Rocco rear shock with Cane Creek spring Marzocchi direct clamp stem Race face atlas bars Odi style clamp on waffle grips Shimano saint front brake Avid elixir 5 rear brake 1x10 gear set up Sram apex short cage rear derailleur Race face chester bottom bracket and crank set Dmr v10 pedals Wtb seat Hutchinson octopus tires Pros: Rideable as is, you could take this to Stevens pass and slay all day long on it as it sits Some really great parts on this bike make it very comfortable and stable. Never let me down on a riding day. I've never once had this thing stop me mid day. Cons: It's been sitting a while, so it's a little dirty and it needs some rehabs Tubes go flat after a bit, it has proper sized Heavy Duty tubes in it but they are old, need replaced honestly, but like I said, you could air em up and ride it for a few days at a time as is. Rear shock needs a rebuild, it's all spring back there right now, the Rocco need a rebuild to function correctly but as is for a 200-240 lb rider it's set up perfectly or, grab a different shock with a lighter spring for a smaller rider. Brakes are mix matched, front is Shimano saint, rear is avid elixir 5, recommend getting a matching saint brake on the rear and sending it. Bottom bracket/crank set has made a click sound since the day I installed it, idk if it's just cuz I'm such a heavy dude or what but it clicks. Might not for a smaller person. It's an older model, so it's fairly heavy but it's SUPER stable. Tires are older, could use replacement in the next few seasons. Paint was done by me with rattle cans in a warm garage, it's holding up pretty good but some spots show wear. Really solid bike, I don't wanna sell it, I know I'll regret it, but I just don't ride it. Really need cash instead now days. Bring me offers
