Description

Ultimate adventure bike ready to go! Has been up and down the west coast several times. I have not really ridden it much this past year, so time to get it to a new home. 2009 KLR 650 (685cc upgrade) $2,800 Just under 62k miles Approx 38-40 MPG Bought from original owner just before 34,000 miles (33,901) and have all records of service recorded in original owners manual. I used to work for Kawasaki dealerships with the Specialist tech certification since 2015. (As well as Suzuki Gold Tech Cert) I'm the guy you want to buy a bike from bc not only do I fix it the RIGHT way, I know these bikes inside out and know what to look for to correct other peoples shady work. One key for all the OEM locks (comes with 2 sets that include box keys as well and 1 spare hidden on the bike) Even has original tool kit in tact! Good: Upgraded Eagle Mike's big bore 685cc Kit @ 45k miles with proper jetting and tuning. Oil changed every 3k miles, regular valve services and I have the measurements if you want them. (10W-50 Syn oil) Tusk paniers (side boxes) Moose racing extra tall windscreen Moose racing Enduro foot pegs Moose racing skid plate Center stand Stainless steel braided brake lines front & rear OEM KLR tank /map bag Emgo trunk box (fits full sized helmet) and added a cup holder Custom seat and gel pad for rider. Heated grip (but only work on HIGH) Spare clutch cable installed on bike (see pics) Led runner /flasher stop light module for extra visibility/safety Magnetic drain plug. Bad: Bike was insurance "total" due to the plastics being so expensive to replace. Frame and everything else were solid and as you can see I have put almost 30,000 miles on the bike since. Washington requires bike is inspected by State Patrol to deem road worthy. Has regular WA title and State patrol sticker See pic Speedo sometimes makes a whining noise and Odom trip reset button gets a little sticky (just need to drive it a mile or two and then hit reset again) Bike cosmetics are not perfect, but all tabs and fairings are secure and in tact. Just gives it character. Plenty of scratches dings and scrapes - Have lots more pics so send me your info and I can share them with you. Front fender was repainted bc I was tired of the faded blue plastic, color isn't exact match but close enough. (You can see fading on the rear) Misc: Great for highway with stock sprocket in rear and 17 tooth front. About 70mph just under 5k RPM allowing an average of 38-39 MPG on this thing. Haven't done the thremobob or doo-hickey. Neither has failed that I know of; worked with a mechanic of 20 years who refused to do them, bc if properly maintained he had never seen one fail. I have not either. Only mod done is the crankcase breather check valve as it does make a noticable difference. Front fork brace installed. (Bikes are notorious for wobble at high speeds). I can go about 85-90 before starting to feel it. Comes with: Extra OEM air filter OEM oil filter Spare tubes front & rear Front tire(road): ~65-70% Front tire(80/20 Enduro): ~60% Rear tire:~40% Front pads: new Rear pads: 65% Brake fluid: 9 months Fork fluid: 2019 (10w) Chain: replaced at 58k Sproxs: ~10k miles. Hit me up with more questions or for photos. Test drive only with cash in hand. You break you buy. Low ballers will be messed with
