Description
This 1998 Dodge Roadtrek 190 Versatile was fully built out by Roadtrek to be the perfect live-in adventure van. It comes complete with a full sized bed, 2-burner propane stove, 2 cubic foot fridge, microwave, AC unit, toilet, sink, propane and electric water heater, propane heating furnace, exhaust fan, and loads of storage! For the electrical system it has 560 AH of lithium batteries, a 2000 watt AC inverter, 400 watts of solar panels with a 40 amp charge controller and 40 amp DC-DC charger to charge the house batteries from the alternator. There are many 120V AC outlets and 12V DC outlets throughout, all powered by the inverter or shore power. The electrical panel and fuse box are stock from the factory and hardwired through the whole van. Lights all over are bright and offer plenty of light, along with windows all around to let natural light in. Large countertops give you plenty of room for cooking real meals and the cabinets and shelves provide all the room you could need for cookware, sports gear, beauty supplies, and anything else you could need. The van is built on a Dodge B3500 RWD van chassis with a towing capacity of 10,000 lbs and a powerful and reliable 5.2L V8 engine. A comfortable length of 19 feet so you can fit in any parking space and navigate tight, rough roads. With 8.5” of ground clearance, the van can maneuver over large rocks on rough off-road trails. Fully functioning air conditioning and heating keep you cool or warm, and the 8’6” height gives plenty of room inside to stand. I also have all maintenance records since I’ve owned it and have been diligent about regular maintenance like brakes, oil changes, transmission fluid changes, spark plugs and wires, and suspension upkeep. The 31 gallon fresh water tank, 25 gallon grey water tank, and 10 gallon black tank provides plenty of capacity for boondocking for up to a week without needing to dump or fill tanks. The outside storage compartment has plenty of space for tools, chairs, and a table for camping, and the retractable awning makes for a wonderful shade area while at camp. I’ve lived in the van for a bit over a year and it hasn’t let me down and I’ve gone everywhere I’ve wanted to in it. Perfectly comfortable for one or two people, it’s a real house on wheels that lacks nothing in terms of creature comforts and convenience. Feel free to call, text, or email to meet for a test drive.
