Description

Gorgeous Untitled Original Abstract Oil Painting on canvas by Romanian artist Harry Guttman. One of 1 created. Purchased at Wentworth Gallery, Miami with receipt and COA - Certificate of Authenticity. 1/1 marked on back. Only one produced. Very rare. There is a sheen to the painting, which I tried to show on the angled photo. This was purchased when Guttman was alive, and value has increased greatly since the artist's death. Stunning abstract painting with buildings theme. Measures 23" across x 21" tall including gold frame. Artist signed. Wentworth Gallery sticker on back. Excellent condition front and back. Copy of COA included with purchase. So colorful. A pure joy to gaze upon! Harry Guttman was a Romanian Postwar & Contemporary painter who was born in 1933. Numerous key galleries and museums such as MNAC, National Museum of Contemporary Art Bucharest have featured Harry Guttman's work in the past. Guttman’s work has been described by critics as having a “celestial cleanness and finesse, reminding one of classical icons.” The three most important subjects of his artwork are women, dancers and buildings. This original painting is very rare. His women represent life and tenderness. His dancers and buildings are usually floating. These themes conveyed life, tenderness, and the security of freedom, life, and love.
