Description

1987 Subaru GL Dual Range 4WD 5 Speed manual. “Bucky Ruckus” This car has been great fun! I’ve had it for about 6 years. It’s great in the snow, goes almost anywhere and turns a lot of heads. These are hard to find! Pros- Clean title. Not smoked or vaped in. Mechanically it’s pretty reliable! I was using it as a daily for a while. EA82 has been rebuilt with Weber carburetor (the carb itself is about 3 years old) and 260 regrind cams. Just had its first oil change from since the recent rebuild, so the break in period is over. 2” exhaust from the cat back, sounds pretty good! (No muffler) Front axles recently replaced. 2” ADF lift kit. 27” Maxxis Bighorn MT tires. (Low miles, like new) 14” Drift Star wheels (4x100 lug pattern). 4x140 to 4x100 adapters. Rear disc brakes conversion. LED headlights, fog lights and turn signals. (Turn signals shine white and flash amber) The shocks were replaced about 4 years ago. I can include the basket if the price is right. Cons- Crack in the windshield (low, doesn’t affect visibility) Some rust, particularly behind the rear passenger tire, but structure is sound. Factory heater fan switch doesn’t work, I replaced it and it still didn’t work, so I wired in a rocker switch to turn on the heater fan. Fuel level gauge only goes up to about 5/8, so it doesn’t show accurate fuel level. Could use new exhaust gaskets. I have no idea how many miles are on the transmission, I replaced it about a year ago, it shifts alright, including 4WD. Carpet isn’t that great. Driver window shrieks when you roll it down (manual windows). Doesn’t have the light bar anymore, but wiring is there for another one.
