Town Talk Name Brand, Louisville, KY The prominent ‘RU’ crest inside the laurel wreath on the hat stands for Riverview Farms, high-end training/breeding facility where the stallion stood at stud or was campaigned. It was common practice for premier Quarter Horse syndicates and breeding farms in the 1980s to produce custom, high-quality promotional apparel to celebrate their World Champion sires. The Original Legend: Quincy Feature was a legendary American Quarter Horse stallion foaled on May 1, 1977. Legacy: Bred by Guen Vawter, he became an elite competitor in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was crowned the 1979 AQHA Open World Champion 2-Year-Old Stallion and the 1980 AQHA Open World Champion 3-Year-Old Stallion, eventually earning his official AQHA Champion title in 1983.
