Purchased at a local estate sale . The Cage sits on top of the base, and the finial comes off as well. There is a drawer that pulls out, but it is missing the metal pull. It just needs a small metal pull , which would be easy to find. This is exactly the way I purchased it. There is some surface rust or oxidation, and it is only the surface. It could easily be quickly gone over with a wire brush and spray painted to make it look whatever way you want it to look. I like it the way it is. It just has a nice outdoor weathered look. It looks like there was probably a shelf on the bottom of the base, but it is not there anymore. Please look at the photos, and zoom in to get a closer idea what you are buying. Overall it is just an inch less than 6 foot tall to the top of the finial. (71 inches.) some of the paint is flaking off, which does not affect the sturdiness of the solid wrought iron ..
